CEO Corner

Greetings and Happy Summer! We are excited to share with you the Summer 2022 issue of our Community Connections newsletter. This e-newsletter has information about job openings at Union Settlement – we’re hiring summer staff right now and we just increased wages for our staff! It also provides up-to-the minute information about new programs and availability in our most popular programs – like Summer Camp, Senior Services and Youth programs.

As you read this, I am in my early days as the new CEO of Union Settlement. However, I am not new to the meaningful work of Union Settlement and the significant role we have played as an anchor institution for more than 127 years.

You can read a bit more about me here in this press release.  This summer, we are focused on strategic planning for the future of Union Settlement. We’ll be in the community talking to residents and program participants. We are also collecting information through this 8 question survey–thanks for completing it with your feedback. The survey should take about 5 minutes. I’d love to speak with you directly – please email me at jgeiling@unionsettlement.org if you would like to make time to meet.

As we enter a new phase of growth, Union Settlement is turning the page with optimism and hope for a future filled with opportunity and new heights. We look forward to forging that path together.

Warmly,

Jennifer Geiling

Chief Executive Officer
